Sutekh

This was what I needed ideas for XD

While exploring some of the links I was given, I stumbled upon one of the Egyptian gods, Set, and facepalmed myself for forgetting this badass existed.

Set (also known as Sutekh like the hieroglyphics at the bottom read) was the god of the desert, storms, darkness, and chaos.

He also is part of a supposedly made-up animal, with squarish ears and a downward-curving snout. I accidentally made his snout too squarish and it doesn't curve as much as I meant it to...I apparently just manned it up more |D

This is a tweaked version, the original didn't scan as well as I wanted it to, it had a soft background, meant to look like a sandstorm, scanner fucked that up real good. So I put the paper texture on to have fun with it.

I also signed it in hieroglyphics for the hell of it.

Done in a mix of prisma and roseart colored pencils and ink, time was about 2 days.
